Day 2: Arriving in Atlanta!

What a day.

After eating breakfast and attending an awesome service at Rock Creek Fellowship, we quick grabbed a bite to eat, packed our bags and then went for a hike on Lookout Mountain.  The scenery was breathtaking and the trail was beautiful.  After enjoying the views we treated ourselves to some ice-cream and then headed down to Atlanta.  We checked in and met the Teameffort staff and then unpacked our vehicles before heading out for a burger at Steak-n-Shake.  The food was great and the fellowship even better:)

After returning to our home for the week (Milford Baptist Church) we met with other groups and spent some orientation time followed by worship and small group time.  We're preparing our hearts for tomorrow's work.  We'll be spending a the majority of our time making lunches and handing them out to people who are homeless.  We'll have opportunities to pray with people, give them food and hugs and play with kids.  It's going to be a great week!  Please continue to pray for God's leading for our group.
